Can Anyone Be A Diet And Fitness Expert If They Study And Know Their Stuff?

It’s sort of confusing how some of the writers of diet/fitness articles don’t have any type of degree regarding nutrition.

You can have life experiences (training for a long time) in diet/fitness or pass on information from good article sources .

A degree or a PhD means nothing to me based on my life experience consulting with the so called “experts” who have degrees.
It is very important to get educated on your own and those who do have degrees that know what they are doing are few and far between.
I am pretty impressed with some people who are very learned in nutrition and their degree relates to other things and nothing to do with nutrition.
Birds of a feather flock together. So, I tend to gravitate toward those who know what they are talking about more so than worry about their credentials.
Educated people make educated decisions, regardless of societies idea of status.
Besides, I read the state accredited nutrition books that are sponsored by the meat and dairy industry, which is corrupt in of itself with all of the hormones, antibiotics and chemicals they feed our food supply which cause human health problems. I’ve seen it in print, that they say Aspartame is OK, when it is the number 1 complaint to the FDA for adverse reactions.
Corporations only care about their margin line and stocks, not your health. They have everything to do with what information is passed onto professional state accredited nutritionists, even if its mis information.
So, degrees don’t impress me. People with accurate knowledge and a passion for making the world a better place impress me.

Typically you need to be ACE Nasm or obtain some other certification that is recognized by the health industry to be taken seriously. Having the certification “validates” that you know what your talking about. Without it, its just another opinion

yes. just check out some local gyms and see if u can get a certification. also, try some healthfood stores
