Diet Advice For An Overwhelmed Student?
I’m an 18 year old female in university with a full course load + everything else (boyfriend, friends, family, job, sports, activities, volunteering…)
I’ve commited to all these things so getting out of them isn’t an option. SO how do i manage.. i’m tired, stressed, depressed – the works. what types of foods should i eat or beverages should i drink to help me get through this year? supplements? vitamins? anything i should avoid?
I have no allergies and i’m not picky. at this point, i’m open to anything.

Eat loads of fruit and vegs-got lots of anti oxidants and anti stress nutrients.
Eat meat esp red as it has iron and high quality B vitamins.
Eat whole grains, not overrefined cereals.Oats are particularly good
Keep hydrated with water and keep away from soft drinks esp coke and pepsi.
Give up the fags as they deplete you of vit C.
Avoid junk food in particular refined carbohydrates, sucrose and trans fats.
Get 8 hours high quality sleep-alone.
Supplement with a high quality multivitimin, plus some cod lliver oil and maybe some additional vitamin C (1000-2000mg)
Do meditation, yoga, tai chi to help you relax and try to get out into the country and just be,even if it is only for a few hours.
