Are Schools Failing To Require Gym & Teach Health Classes In Public School Anymore?

& what DO they teach? I’m amazed at the uninformed kids on Y!A asking about losing weight & what to eat & too many ask about starving & throwing up. Gym was sports & exercise & health class about nutrition. And there really wasn’t a fat kid in our rather large hi-school – McDs didn’t super-size then.
It’s obvious something’s wrong, what with all the fat kids I see & the questions I find on here.
