I Need A Professional Nutrition And Fitness Expert To Answer Me?
i joined the gym yesterday after i stopped lifting weights 3 months ago. I am 178 cm and weigh 72 kgs, which indicates that i am thin somehow.. I need to gain muscle mass but i have fats around my belly area, big love handles and some fat around my chest. Other body areas are slim. My trainer gave me a diet schedule and he claimed that this schedule will help me burn fat and gain muscle mass but i have doubts abt it:
9:00 AM 2 boiled potatoes
12:00 Big tuna can mixed with corn
3:00 PM steak or chicken breast with rice
6:00 2 boiled potatoes + green pepper+ cabbage
9:00 PM steak, or chicken breast or fish fillet with rice
12:00 10 egg whites
is it a good schedule? doesnt my body need fats even if want to lose it? what shall i add or skip?

i basically want to lose fat(not muscle).and tone up my arms,legs,and stomach…
i guess,just to get healthy in general…
i had a really bad knee injury last year and that puts running out of the question for cardio..but i CAN exercise
if you could give me specific exercises,foods to eat.times to exercise/eat..that’d be great!
(oh,and please don’t give me any crap about wanting to lose weight..i’m not one of those “wanna-be-skinny” chicks..i just wanna be healthy again!)
and please no websites for weight loss programs..suggestions are much appreciated!

Dear Athletes. I Need A Weight/fat Loss Diet Routine That Can Benefit Me In My Sport?
I used to be competitive in a variety of sports before I went to college. I was in relatively good shape. I was muscular, but not overly muscular. Since I went to college I have gained alot of fat. I would guess my body fat percentage is anywhere from 20 – 30%
I am 6’2 and I weigh in at 225lbs after a meal. When I wake up I am usually about 220lbs. Last time I was in peak condition, I was weighing in at about 188lbs. I asked my coaches what I should eat but I didn’t like their answers..
I need a diet that is cheap and effective that will help me get through the days of hard work and nights of training.
I work 5 days a week and train 3 nights a week for about 1 – 1 1/2 hours. Mostly cardio style workouts.
I am looking for advice from other athletes that train on what to eat all day every day.. also what I should drink.
My current diet right now is pretty much anything I find in my fridge, or anything friends or family buys me.. I also drink beer, juice or water. I consume about 10 – 15 beers a week. 1L of water a day. Maybe a glass or two of juice a day.
Please help. I want to be fit again! tired of being fat.
P.S I am not trying to gain alot of muscle. I already have a fair bit.. I just want to expose them by burning all my fat.

I’m a healthy person but as a busy working mom I need some help losing a few lbs, toning up, & relieving stress. I recently purchased a nice treadmill and have worked up to running (jogging!) 2.5 miles in about 35 minutes 3X a week. I haven’t lost any weight, but I feel stronger. Without a lot of spare time, how do I lose the 5-10 lbs? Am I doing the wrong exercise? Please steer me in the right direction! Thanks
