A vegetarian diet is absolutely better for people. There are disease known as “western diseases” which occur mostly in the western world where more animal protein is consumed. There are new studies that show many kife-threatening diseases (cancer, heart disease, diabetes) are linked to consuming animal proteins. if you are really interested in the science behind why eating animal proteins is really bad for you check out a book called THE CHINA STUDY. It’s be most comprehenseive study of nutrition ever done and the results are incredible and mind-blowing. There are a bunch of other studies cited in the book as well. I highly recommend it.
