Is This A Healthy Diet…?
Breakfast: A bowl of bran flakes with semi-skimmed milk and sometimes a banana
lunch: low fat butter, tomato, fresh chicken, lettuce, sweetcorn and low fat mayo. All inside either white French stick or brown bread. With 500ml bottle of orange squash (no added sugar) and a apple. On the odd occasions a pint of diet coke (ie when a sports match is on)
Dinner: usually soup, baked potato and tuna, pasta(with source) and garlic bread, eggs on toast, fresh chicken sandwich.
Pudding: small low fat yogurt
Lots of water during the day and a extra apple.
Alcohol: a bit at the weekend. Which is better cider or double rum and coke??
Exercise: I have to walk 30 mins to and from work everyday, usually quite fast. Its about 1.5 miles walk, but traffic lights make it longer.
Any advice would be gladly taken, thanx
Gnc Supplements; Will This Work?
I have decent size to my build just looking to tone up. Will a combination of hydroxycut hardcore, whey protein (not wheybolic) and a multivitamin of gnc sport work (with good dietining and excercise)? Im asking cause my work schedule is crazy so I dont have the freedom as I did in college to workout. Plus I just had meniscus surgery so I cant do cardio for 3 months, I will just be lifting weights for my upperbody.

Athletic trainers assess sports injuries, providing appropriate treatment, and educating athletes on injury-prevention programs as well as healthy lifestyles. Trainers help with rehabilitation after an injury.
An athletic trainer works with school sports teams, professional sports, or in sports medicine clinics or health clubs. Trainers work in collaboration with physicians and coaches, insuring that treatment plans are followed and athletes are not returned to the game prematurely. Trainers can work full-time year round or on a seasonal basis which varies with each sport.
Students should study biology, chemistry, and physics as well as basic first-aid. Some coaching or experience as a team captain is preferable. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees are available in athletic training. An authorized program includes courses such as human anatomy and physiology, psychology, nutrition, and physical education plus extensive field experience. Athletic trainers also need good social and communication skills because they are constantly working with people.
Athletic Trainer salaries vary depending on the location and the setting. The average salary is $18.44 per hour, which totals up to about $38,360 per year, comparing to a personal trainer, fitness trainer or aerobic instructor they make a good amount of money. Of coarse though, like every job the salary usually starts smaller and when the amount of hours and experience is increased so does the salary range.
Along with this job there are many advantages and disadvantages. Being a personal trainer has its benefits, like you get a free membership to any gym you work at, and meet great people. Teaching a class is also a good workout for yourself. Some cons are it is extremely tiring, physically demanding and is lots of competition out there. You have lots of laundry all the time (being sweaty does that).
There are a number of ways for athletic trainers to advance or move into related positions. Some assistant athletic trainers could become head athletic trainers and, eventually become athletic directors. Some athletic trainers may even move into sales and marketing positions, in this field they are able to use their athletic trainer expertise to sell medical and athletic equipment.
The appropriateness of this field for myself is not a type of field I would be looking into for when considering what to do with my life. Being an athletic trainer would be a lot of work and would mean I would need to be extremely well fit. I am fit but teaching other people how to be fit and helping them out, is something that I simply not interested in pursuing. I would also need a lot of schooling because you need to know about muscles and first aid.
thanks
Is This Diet Effeciant ?
I am not necessarily looking for you to change my entire diet around, although tips would be appreciated. I am just curious if this is good enough to lose weight, and maintain the muscle that I already have.
I walk around at 220lbs at the height of 6’2. I don’t know my body fat % as of now, but it is the most horrible its been in my entire life. I was used to 9%, now it is probably 20-25%. I am an athlete, I usually practise wrestling & boxing three times a week. I do 20 – 50 pushups a day. 50 situps a day. Lift light – medium weights in a long running circuit training fashion almost every day, which causes alot of burning and exhaustion in the muscles. The weight training I do is more inclined to a sports athlete rather then a body builder. I am not interested in body building. I also don’t use sports supplements.
My eating habits right now is basically whatever I want, I don’t weight my food, and calculate my intakes. I basically eat fairly clean, and to the hour, or second hour.

Planning To Go On A Diet This Summer, Any Tips ? Read More Below…?
Hey, I am 14 and a half and I’m pretty tall for my age (6ft 1in)…I went on many diets, consisting of sports (cardio and weight lifting) 4 to 5 times a week, and eating almost nothing at night…I lost 8 kg ( about 18 pounds ) in 2 and a half weeks, but I ruined it all and gained the weight i had fought so hard to lose…And it wasn’t the first time. I plan on going on a strict diet during summer ( and start now ) combined with sports every day. My goal is to lose 44 pounds by September. Is it possible, and can you please give me ANY tips you think are useful ? Thanks !
P.S. It’s mostly moral, any tips on how to not give in ?
Is This Good? ( To Do With Fitness / Exercise / Rest / Nutrition )?
Hi i was just wandering if this is ok?
So i do gym everyday/ or some sort of exercise. I have a six pack.
On thursday i did my school cross country, 1 hour of gym and an hour and half of fitness. On friday and saturday i decided to rest. I normally eat healthy and never eat bad, but on saturday i had 2 slices of pizza and some maltezers and chewits. Today ( sunday ) had an hour rugby match and i did 4 mile run. Is it bad to rest so long and was it a bad idea to eat that? Thanks Guys
Can Old-fashioned Work-outs Still Hold Their Own In This Modern World?
Today more than ever sport and fitness regimes are based on scientific research and advance so rapidly it is hard to keep up with the expensive supplements, high-tech equipment and complex work outs.
What I’d like to know is, at least as far as strength training is concerned, can the work-outs of 50/60 years ago still hold their own? No chemicals, no pill or powder supplements, no fancy equpiment or machines, just hard slogging, rusting free weights and splitting logs?
I’d be interested in pursuing an old-time strength work out as I am already very fit aerobically and don’t have time for expensive gym memberships and all the techincal mumbo-jumbo in Mens Health magazine!
Any ideas? Thanks!
Would This Sport Supplement Harm Me?
I’ am interested in the Vespa CV-25 sport supplement which works by encouraging the muscles to metabolize fat. It supposedly conserves glycogen levels and reduces blood lactates. It claims to be all natural and uses amino vitamins. Would this be like the weight-loss supplements that kill people? Also, what negative consequences in particular could this result in? I would like this to be answered by a qualified health care professional if possible and please don’t use any generic statements like they are all bad for you or they all cause heart problems I would like to know about this particular product.
