  • Neville Humpworthy:

He probably has a very high metabolism, and burns calories as quickly as he consumes them. He’ll grow. Somewhere in his early teens he’ll hit a growth spurt, eat you out of house and home, and grow about 6 inches in 2 months.

What he is eating, or not eating have a lot to do with this. Is his diet balanced? More proteins, starches will pack on the needed calories. Balance it out with a healthy dose of fruits and veggies. Last but not least vitamins supplement as recommended by his doctor.

  • Ask About ME O_0:

If the doctor told you he need vitamins then get him vitamins.
You control what he eats most of the time right?
Prepare good balanced meals for him.
    Protein + carbs!
Make whole wheat sandwiches and get some natural peanutbutter so he can add that to his apples (healthy fats).
Lean meat like chicken, turkey, fish or tuna is great too.
Get him to eat MORE – whole grain pasta is great too.
If he already eats a lot – then contact your doctor again because that isn’t normal.

  • Don't you get it??:

This is normal he’s 11 he very active his metabolism is probably very high. He’ll be fine don’t worry :) )

  • KSgirl:

Could be genetics. As long as he is healthy, I wouldn’t be concerned. Don’t put it into his head that there is something wrong with his body, because he will carry that forever.

  • Kim Granchy:

he is probably just growing. just b/c someone is fat or thin as a child, all that can and most likely will change by puberty.

  • Priyanka S:

Because it is his growing age and his height is going to be build up.
